Abstract: This paper explores the crucial steps of  data preparation and exploratory data analysis prior to fitting a distributional regression model.

It aims  to identify the key pre-modelling information  necessary to streamline and support the subsequent stages of statistical modelling. This work provides practical tools that can enhance model performance and simplify the modelling process.
