  • Five invited keynote presentations from experts in wide-ranging ares of statistical modelling: Brendan Murphy, Ireland (unsupervised record linkage); Ruth King, UK (ecological heterogeneity models); Sonja Greven, Germany (additive density-on-scalar regression); Daniele Durante, Italy (Bayesian criminal network modelling); Cynthia Rudin, USA (explainable machine learning models).
  • Approximately 50 contributed Oral Presentations with no parallel sessions, enabling all delegates to enjoy the whole programme and interact with each other over the entire conference.
  • A Poster Reception presentation and networking session, where food and drinks will be provided for all delegates.
  • A one-day Short Course prior to the main conference (on Sunday 15th July) delivered by Laura Sangalli, Italy on physics-informed statistical learning.

In addition to this academic programme, we have an excellent social programme including: Welcome Reception in Treaty City Brewery on Monday 14th July; Excursions (bus to the Cliffs of Moher and walking tour of Limerick’s Medieval Quarter) on Wednesday 16th July; and the Conference Dinner in House Restaurant on Thursday 17th July. Lunch will also be provided each day for all delegates in the Strand Hotel’s award-winning River Restaurant.

Oral presentations: All contributed talks are allocated a 20-minute slot. This is to be understood as “15+5”, with 15 minutes for the presentation, and five minutes for questions and handover.

Poster presentations: Posters should be prepared in an A0 portrait format (i.e., tall rather than wide). Posters can be mounted on boards from the evening of Sunday 13th July, and will stay mounted until the evening of Tuesday 15th July. This will allow conference delegates to view and discuss the posters during the coffee breaks throughout Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th July leading up to the Poster Reception (on the Tuesday evening). Note that posters will need to be taken down immediately after the Poster Reception.
